WHO WE ARE

The Business Coalition for Capacity Building (BCCB) is a private, non-partisan coalition of companies that work with governments, international organizations, and NGOs to promote effective capacity building in the developing world.

The BCCB promotes capacity building efforts in the following core areas - rule of law and good governance, labor standards, economic development, education and environmental stewardship - with the goal of raising standards, reducing poverty and increasing the ability of developing countries to participate in the global economy. Rule of law includes the enforcement of trademark and other intellectual property rights, anti-corruption programs, customs compliance, supply chain security and human rights protection. The BCCB supports the training of leaders, workers and civil society so that they have the tools needed to further capacity building efforts in their own countries.
